What's the best way to get tickets through Ticket Master for an event that will sell out quickl

I usually see smaller band so this usually isn't a problem. But I need tickets for REM at the Hollywood Bowl. The tickets go on sale at 10 AM tomorrow. Does it matter if I purchase by phone or online or will I do better by showing up at a Ticket Master office tomorrow morning? Do they still do that line up and wrist band thing? Or has this all changed in the last few years? Most Ticket Masters I know of were in music stores ... and most music stores have closed down.

An easy way do it is to sign up and into "MY TICKETMASTER" You need to make an account that archives your name, address and billing information. This entails having a bank card archived on this account. You access this by logging into your "MY TICKETMASTER" with your email and password. Try to get online and into your TM account and just have the REM page open. It will say that tickets are unavailable for a various reasons. (you know it is because they will start selling at 10 am) Important, just keep hitting refresh right at least a few minutes before 10 am and exactly at 10 it will finally show the page ready and waiting to take your request for tickets. Put your request in for # of tickets and price range......putting in "BEST AVAILABLE" will help. Hit the look for tickets button and it will ask you to type in those coded misshapen words and then a page will pop up with seats. You will have at least a 3-5 minutes to make your decision. Your best bet is to TAKE THEM because if you think you will get better, it may not happen. Since all your information is all ready, all you have to do is to push the accept button. If you have your bank card info already archived then you won't have to waste precious time typing in card numbers......you may loose your tickets and your place in line and then the process will have to begin again. If you put them back and chance better seats, you will have to start the request for tickets again. Do it this way and you can stay in the comfort of your own home and just keep hitting refresh right at 10 am.

Go to the ticket master office. That way you are in person, right there and have a place in line. Get there before 10am. You might be surprised to see people lined up already there (I have seen this, also have seen people sleeping outside the place over night when I drove by at night). Waiting on the phone, is just asking to be put on hold/next in line, etc. One of the most fusturating things is trying to order tix online and have the internet jamming and messing up. You can try online if you want to, but imo, if you are that close to a ticketmaster retailer - go! Good luck!

You can usually get them before, but if not then just keep trying over and over again.

Rise and shine bright and early (as in be online about 10) and just order it then, because they can't all be sold out AT ten
