I got tickets to go see my favorite band, but what if they, on their website, say you can buy tix only at the venue, are the tickets still good if i bought them online from Ticketmaster?

The tickets you buy at Ticketmaster are the same as the ones purchased at the venue. They should still be honored. Otherwise, Ticketmaster wouldn't sell them.
